Menopause
The menopause is the last menstrual period steered by the ovaries and marks the transition into a new phase of life. In the climacteric, the hormone balance readjusts; complaints are frequent and well treatable. At the Kyborg Institute we consider the theme additionally on a soul-related level, expressly as a personal, worldview-based view.
Our reading
In our reading, the menopause is a natural transition – the end of the fertile phase and the beginning of a mature, free time of life. Where the change is difficult, the theme “acceptance of one’s own ageing” can resound. Accepting oneself as a healthy, mature woman eases this step, in our experience. That is a sensitive suggestion, no claim about causes and no attribution of blame.
What does that mean in practice?
- Have burdening menopausal complaints medically (gynaecologically) accompanied – there are effective possibilities.
- Movement, a balanced diet and relaxation do good in this phase.
- Accept the transition as a new phase of life instead of fighting against it.
