Channelling

Channelling denotes the reception of mediumistic messages from the spiritual world: a human being – the medium – perceives communications from otherworldly beings and renders them. At the Kyborg Institute we understand channelling as a real connection to spiritual beings and expressly as a personal, worldview-based view that many cultures have always known.

Spirits and beings – who is channelled?

We distinguish two levels: by spirits are meant the deceased, along with otherworldly energy beings – in the sense of “the small ones”. By beings we understand much larger, more powerful energy beings that our forebears have, to this day, worshipped as gods. Which being communicates depends, in our experience, on the spiritual maturity and the personal disposition of the medium.

An old, worldwide practice

The possibility of making contact with higher beings we all carry, according to our conviction, within us. Priests, sages, prophets, shamans and magicians have done it at all times – only the methods have changed with each culture. For indigenous peoples, the old cultural peoples, or for Indians and Tibetans, this is quite a matter of course. Only in Western Europe did a threshold of inhibition arise, shaped by Christian history and later by modern natural science. From our point of view, no one need be an esotericist in order to open themselves to these experiences – everyone may keep their own opinion.

Horus and the Kyborg Institute

Since 1990 D. Harald Alke has been consciously in connection with the Egyptian god Horus and further spiritual beings. These channel themselves as “cosmic constructors” who – like us, only on a higher level – fulfil particular tasks in the universe and accompany our development. The messages received over the years are gathered in the book Botschaften aus dem Licht. How can the reliability be assessed?

A spiritual counsel does not relieve us of responsibility – it can be a spur to rethinking; the decision remains with the human being. The truth-content of a message is, in our experience, constituted by two things: the inner certainty that comes from one’s own centre (the 4th chakra), and an attentive, examining attitude. Helpful is the question of whether the suggestions really carry one further in one’s own life. This is a spiritual suggestion, not a scientific assertion.
