Telepathy
Telepathy (literally “distant feeling”) means an immediate mental-emotional exchange between people – and also animals – in which mostly unconsciously moods are perceived, sometimes also clearer thoughts or images. At the Kyborg Institute we understand this as a fine perception and expressly as a personal, worldview-based view.
Our reading
Much of this we experience in everyday life, without calling it so: in every team or every family one is – often unconsciously – aware of the mood of the others and senses what others think about one. This fine perception can, in our experience, be schooled – for instance through meditation, calm attention and a conscious dealing with one’s own thoughts (see mental training). This is a spiritual suggestion, not a scientific assertion.
What does that mean in practice?
- Attend to the fine, unspoken signals in togetherness.
- School one’s own perception through rest and gathering.
- Compare impressions openly but unobtrusively, instead of interpreting prematurely.
Note: This article renders a personal, worldview-based view.
Frequently asked questions
What is telepathy?
Literally 'distant feeling': an immediate mental-emotional exchange between people (and animals), in which mostly unconsciously moods, and sometimes also thoughts or images, are perceived. This is a worldview-based view.
How does the Kyborg Institute see telepathy?
We understand it as a fine, mostly unconscious perception: in every team one senses, unspoken, the mood of the others. Methods such as meditation and conscious attention can school this fine perception.
