Cro-Magnon, Neanderthals and Atlantis
The roots of the modern spiritual culture of Europe lie in the Languedoc. Whoever has once been on holiday in southern France surely knows that this region has its own, special charm from which hardly anyone can escape. Here stood the cradle of our own race. About 32,000 years ago the slim, tall Cro-Magnon people appeared here, seemingly out of nothing. The scientists do not know from where they came. It is speculated that they came from Africa via the Lebanon, because allegedly “the cradle of humanity” stands in South Africa. But in Spain and southern France the oldest bones of Cro-Magnon were found, older than what could so far be found in the Near East. Let us first note that it is, in any case, pure luck what fragments are found somewhere after thousands of years!
The Cro-Magnon replaced the allegedly more primitive Neanderthals. The Neanderthals were, until a few years ago, depicted as a kind of ape-men. Meanwhile one knows that they not only lived in caves but built whole large villages. It was thus a foreign race, whose genes we, however, presumably still carry in us. Neanderthals and Cro-Magnon lived side by side for many thousands of years, and they were obviously compatible. They could beget children with one another.
Actually the Cro-Magnon had more “culture”. Yet they had lost almost everything. Spiritual seers are agreed that the new race came across the sea from Atlantis, from an island archipelago of which today only the mountain peaks remain, namely the Azores, the West Indies and the Canary Islands. Before Atlantis went under, many of the Atlanteans fled to the continents, to North Africa, Spain, Portugal and France.
If you would like to read more about the development of European culture, from the Cro-Magnon via the megalith culture of the Celts, the cultural flowering in the Middle Ages under the Cathar princes, the minnesingers and Templars, then read my book “Der Pyramidenmann”. I have dedicated an extra chapter to this cultural development.

I find it great that my large pyramid site has found its place, of all places, in this history-laden region, which has already brought forth so many cultural heydays!
The Cathars and Montségur

The last and most important centre of the Cathars was the castle of Montségur, formerly a sun temple of Belenus. The castle was conquered in 1244 after 9 months of siege. 240 people were burned alive on a huge pyre.
The Cathars too, for all their love of peace, had made a mistake. They spread the opinion that this earthly world was the devil’s creation. The brutal and perverse social situation, where violence and exploitation were the order of the day, made this conjecture plausible. The terrible atrocities of the crusaders then proved in practice that the Cathars had been right with their fears.
The minnesingers – singing journalists
Parallel to the religious movement of the Cathars, the culture of the minnesingers had developed. The minnesingers had likewise arisen from a Celtic tradition. They took up the succession of the bards. They travelled through the land, cast important events into poems and songs and spread these messages. The bards, skalds and minnesingers were something like singing journalists.
Montségur, the holy mountain of the Cathars, in old times a sun temple of the Celts’ god of light, Belenus.
The messages of the minnesingers contained worldly and spiritual news. An attempt was made to carry on the spiritual experiences of particular people in the form of poems and songs. One tried to cultivate the people.
The European centre of the minnesingers was the castle Puivert (Green Well), where every year in summer the European meetings and contests among the best singers took place. This castle could not really be defended at all. It was rather a trade and cultural centre. It was governed by a woman. It was conquered by the crusaders, plundered, and all inhabitants were massacred, men, women and children.
The only castle that supported Montségur at that time was Roquefixade. It was a castle led by men who, with wild determination, threw the crusaders down the slope when they tried to storm the castle. It is well worth seeking out these old places of power, and best of all outside the season!
The Grail and Montsalvache

Of decisive importance in the history of this region was the search for the Holy Grail. That alone is an extensive story, which I will go into in one of my books.
Horus, 24.9.02: “The Grail really exists. It is a kind of neutral centre that can activate unbelievable amounts of energy. With it you can accomplish everything. The Grail serves the people and the gods. It is a connecting link, a piece of history, a force that moves everything and yet does nothing. Its existence changes the world. … In the mountains you will find what you are searching for, there where everything began, long before the beginning of the modern age.” More on that in Der Pyramidenmann!
The Pic Barthélemy in summer and in winter, the Devil’s Lake at the Pic Barthélemy.
Presumably Montségur is the mysterious castle Montsalvache of the legend. The attempt of the crusaders to conquer this mysterious chalice failed. In the night before the conquest of Montségur, 4 young men roped down over the sheer wall and escaped with the Grail on forest paths to the holy mountain massif of the Pic Barthélemy in the domain of the King of Aragon. From there the Grail was brought into the secret abbey of San Juan de la Peña in the Spanish Basque country.

Templars and Rosicrucians
Even though this land was badly treated, the spirit of freedom should never quite be extinguished. After the destruction of the Cathars there arose the order of the Templars, which in turn maintained important stations in southern France, increasingly built up closer and friendly relations with the Arabs, until it was finally destroyed 300 years later, in the same way, by the Vatican and the French king as a “devil’s club”.
Parallel to the Templar order there arose in the 13th century the first Rosicrucian order, which likewise had its origin down there in the land of the god of light, Belenus. The first was followed by several new foundations of Rosicrucians. Today all these various orders have their “order castles” in the French Pyrenees.
Dropouts, ley lines and earlier lives

In the past 30 years, thousands of people from the northern countries have found a new home down there. The land was cheap, the soil often barren, many farms abandoned, so exactly the right thing for dropouts who want to find their way back to themselves at the edge of society. One could buy castles, châteaux, farms and land there relatively cheaply (until 1985). Meanwhile the land is by no means so cheap any more, thanks to the EU, and thanks to the great demand from people especially from Germany, the Netherlands, England, Switzerland.
The chance to begin anew with a run-down farm is not exactly easy. Most of the dropouts throw in the towel within a few years and go back to the cities. Nevertheless one can say that this region has become a kind of self-experience playground for refugees from civilisation.
In the attempt to do everything differently and better, many people gain valuable life experiences. The attempt to live again in small communities mostly founders on the bad habits of individual participants. But even if these attempts come to an end at some point, the experiences are valuable. A part of the people, however, goes further. They do not despair of everyday life as farmers and craftspeople, part from unsuitable friends and develop their own way of life.
The dropout experiments are basically a self-therapy on a societal scale. From the faces and the behaviour of the dropouts one can read that there, at some distance from the city, they live through once more memories and soul-related old burdens from earlier earthly lives, in order to cleanse their soul, to heal their old wounds and to begin anew. Only when we include the fact of earlier incarnations and recognise that our life is not limited to one epoch do we also recognise the hidden programmes according to which our life plan runs.
It is quite certainly no “coincidence” that, with great continuity, life experiments have been undertaken for thousands of years precisely in this area. Again and again people come together to found a movement that is to lead us to the light. The outer forms of appearance may be different, the content always remains the same. One could assume that the god of light, Belenus, still acts upon this region.
I think it hangs together with the great ley line. The magnetic current of the largest European ley line activates the creative power of creation. It attracts again and again sensitive people who feel drawn to the message of the light.
From Kundalini Yoga to the pyramid site
I myself lived there in the region for 10 years. On Le Braquet I practised 3 hours of Kundalini Yoga and mantra meditations daily; here I experienced an abundance of unusual experiences. I worked through my past. I was there several times: 22,000 years ago with the Cro-Magnon, with the Cathars in 1244, in the Middle Ages around 1540 and in other epochs.
A secret inner force moved me, in the spring of 1983, to build the first wooden pyramid, 450 cm high, on the ley line. That was the beginning. Exactly 7 years later the channelling messages of Horus began. He transmitted to me the construction plans for the 7 energy pyramids. 16 years after the 1st wooden pyramid I erected the great energy pyramid as a sign of a free spirit.
There are forces that we can hardly describe with words, but which give us impulses. Here the personal sensation is better. I understand my achievement above all as a work of art that can give people stimuli. Every person who engages with the energy of my large pyramid site and with the ley line on which it stands will gain their own experiences. I would like to stimulate the visitors to an expanded perception. The future will show what all is still possible with this large site. Here all 7 models of the Horus energy pyramids stand in a row, fed by the energy of the ley line. Let us be surprised!
Frequently asked questions
Where, for the Kyborg Institute, lie the roots of European spiritual culture?
In the Languedoc in southern France – with Cro-Magnon, the Celts and Cathars, the minnesingers and Templars. A cultural-historical trace-seeking by D. Harald Alke.
What does the pyramid site have to do with it?
D. Harald Alke erected his great Horus pyramid site in this history-laden region on a 'ley line' – as a work of art and a place of his own experience.
Is this secured historical science?
No. The text connects historical key data with personal, spiritual readings (Atlantis, ley lines, earlier lives). An expressly subjective standpoint, no scientific proof.
