Vomiting
Vomiting is the forceful, backward-directed emptying of the stomach’s contents – a protective reflex of the body. The causes reach from spoiled food through infections to strong soul-related strain. At the Kyborg Institute we consider the theme additionally in soul-related terms, expressly as a personal, worldview-based view.
Our reading
Similar to nausea, only stronger: in our reading, someone has taken up “too much” or “the wrong thing” and wants to get rid of it quickly. This need not lie in the food itself – some people react sensitively to an unpleasant atmosphere while eating. In an acute crisis too (a shock, great fear) the body relieves itself, because one cannot at the same time digest calmly and bring oneself to safety. That is a sensitive observation, no claim about causes.
What does that mean in practice?
- Have violent, persistent or repeated vomiting clarified by a doctor – especially with children and pregnant women.
- Attend to enough fluid and grant the body rest.
- Ask oneself what does not “agree with” you right now – in the literal as in the transferred sense.
