Nausea
Nausea is a queasy, unpleasant feeling in the region of the stomach, often accompanied by an urge to vomit. The causes are manifold – from diet and travel movement through infections to soul-related tension. At the Kyborg Institute we consider the theme additionally on a soul-related level, expressly as a personal, worldview-based view.
Our reading
In our reading, nausea is often a sign that someone cannot cope with a situation – it can lie in the food or in the people around. Something is to go, one would like to “free oneself” of a strain. In this image it holds: only whoever lets go of the old becomes free again for the new. That is a sensitive observation, no claim about causes and no attribution of blame.
What does that mean in practice?
- Have persistent, severe or recurring nausea clarified by a doctor.
- Ask oneself: what “lies heavy in my stomach” right now? Sometimes it already helps to consciously tackle a burdening situation.
- Calm, fresh air and light fare can do good.
Note: This article renders a personal, worldview-based view and is not medical advice. It replaces no medical diagnosis or treatment. For health questions please turn to a doctor or pharmacy; do not discontinue prescribed medication on your own initiative.
