Intestinal illnesses
Intestinal illnesses concern complaints of the large, small and end intestine. At the Kyborg Institute we additionally read intestine and digestion on a soul-related level – expressly as a personal, worldview-based view and always only as a supplement to medicine.
Letting go and holding fast – our reading
In our reading, the intestine has to do with letting go and holding fast: constipation we read symbolically as a holding fast to the old, diarrhoea as a quick getting rid of a burden. Fear too can, in our view, play a role. Whoever finds more composure and can let the old go does themselves good, according to our understanding. These are pictorial readings – no claims about causes and no attributions of blame.
Important: have it medically clarified
Intestinal complaints have many possible causes. Please have it clarified by a doctor with persistent constipation or diarrhoea, blood in the stool, severe or persistent pain, weight loss or fever. No self-medication with nutrient cures or laxatives on your own – especially not in pregnancy.
What does that mean in practice?
- Attend to warning signs and, in doubt, seek medical advice.
- Keep an eye on diet, movement and fluid in general.
- Understand the soul-related view as a supplement, not as a treatment.
Note: This article renders a personal, worldview-based view and is not medical advice. It replaces no medical diagnosis or treatment. For health questions please turn to a doctor or pharmacy; do not discontinue prescribed medication on your own initiative.
Frequently asked questions
How does the Kyborg Institute read intestinal problems?
We connect the intestine symbolically with letting go and holding fast: constipation with the holding fast to the old, diarrhoea with the quick getting rid of a burden. That is a worldview-based reading, no medical statement.
Does a vitamin C cure help against constipation?
Such dosage recommendations we have removed. With persistent constipation, diarrhoea, blood in the stool or severe pain, please have it clarified by a doctor – no self-medication on your own.
May one take laxatives in pregnancy?
Please not on your own. In pregnancy and around the birth, every medication belongs in medical/midwifery hands. Earlier statements on this we have removed.
