Ageing
Ageing is the ongoing, natural process of change to which the body is subject in the course of life. At the Kyborg Institute we additionally regard it on a soul-related level, expressly as a personal, worldview-based view.
Our reading
From our point of view, a life with meaning and a task keeps one mentally and physically alive: whoever stays curious and feels needed often ages more calmly. A healthy way of life – movement (such as yoga, Tai Chi or Energytraining), good nutrition, rest – can support well-being into old age. This is a compassionate suggestion and expressly no attribution of guilt: no one is “to blame” if they fall ill or age earlier.
Some traditional and spiritual sources report of exceptionally long life. We render this as part of our worldview-based tradition, not as a proven fact.
What does that mean in practice?
- Attend to a healthy, active way of life and good relationships.
- Cultivate meaning and tasks – they keep one alive.
- Have complaints of age accompanied by a doctor; accept ageing instead of fighting it.
Note: This article renders a personal, worldview-based view and is not medical advice. It replaces no medical diagnosis or treatment. For health questions please turn to a doctor or pharmacy; do not discontinue prescribed medication on your own initiative.
