AI as a teacher: an opportunity for the family

The societal change that begins with the entry of AI into the education of children is enormous. Knowledge can be conveyed depending on the individual interests of the children and treat specific problems pinpoint-precisely.
More room for family and the free spirit

Families can convey values again, while the shaping through state guidelines steps into the background. Mental limitations can be reduced, the free spirit gets new chances.
AI too can be one-sided
One should, however, not overlook that AIs too can be instrumentalised for certain purposes. From my view, that showed itself for instance with OpenAI/ChatGPT, where I experienced the handling of political themes in the US election campaign as unbalanced; topic filters in the sense of large organisations (WEF, UN, WHO) I also see critically. That is my subjective assessment – what matters is not to trust AI blindly.
Foster individually instead of levelling
For general knowledge, LLMs are, in my experience, by far better than some school institution: enormous, interactive knowledge databases that can dissolve many unnecessary blockages of today’s teaching. Thus every child can be fostered individually, instead of being brought up for years to sit still. It no longer holds that “everyone is equal and must be treated identically” (which passes by the nature of the human being and evolution), but “live your strengths and know your weaknesses”.
A fish cannot climb trees and a monkey cannot dive well. Creativity can be fostered again, instead of being suffocated in bureaucratic madness.
Limits and intuition
When it comes to specialist fields or fringe opinions, LLMs have, in my personal experience, enormous blind spots. One should heed that and also communicate it. The intuitive nature of the human being, AIs will presumably never replace – provided the human cultivates their own intuition.
AI is opportunity and fetter at once; applied with care, the advantages can, however, far outweigh. An opportunity for free spirits and the revival of genuine family bonds.
