Hymn to the sun – a poem for Verena
Autor: D. Harald Alke
A standpoint, not an encyclopedia entry. A personal, poetic side of D. Harald Alke – a poem for his wife Verena, written on 9 October 1988.
Behind the spiritual research, the energy pyramids and the many books stands a human being – and a decades-long partnership. This small poem D. Harald Alke gave to his wife Verena. Sun and moon become in it an image for love, light and connectedness: one’s own radiance is the reflection of the light of the beloved person.
Hymn to the sun
You, my beloved, are my sun. And I am the moon. The radiance in my eyes is the reflection of your light, of your power and of your love.
When the earth, with its material concerns, pushes itself between our hearts, the radiance goes out like a lunar eclipse, and I await the day when your love’s light shines to me again!
