Tonsillitis
Tonsillitis is an inflammation of the palatine tonsils that mostly expresses itself through a sore throat and difficulty swallowing. With severe or persistent complaints, it should be clarified by a doctor. At the Kyborg Institute we additionally read the throat region on an energetic-symbolic level – expressly as a personal, worldview-based view and always only as a supplement to the medical assessment.
The throat and the 5th chakra – how we read it
The tonsils we assign to the region of the 5th chakra, which we connect with the theme of free expression. In our reading, an irritation in the throat can symbolically point to someone not being able to express themselves as they would like – to suppressed feelings, fears or resentment being held back. An open, friendly atmosphere and the freedom to speak honestly do this region good, according to our understanding. That is a spiritual reading and no medical claim about causes.
What does that mean in practice?
- With severe or persistent sore throat, fever or difficulty swallowing, have it clarified by a doctor.
- Take prescribed treatments seriously and do not break them off on your own initiative.
- As a supplement: give your own expression room – say honestly what moves you, and see to an open atmosphere.
Note: This article renders a personal, worldview-based view and is not medical advice. It replaces no medical diagnosis or treatment. For health questions please turn to a doctor or pharmacy; do not discontinue prescribed medication on your own initiative.
Frequently asked questions
What does tonsillitis mean from the view of the Kyborg Institute?
We read the throat region symbolically via the 5th chakra: the theme of expressing oneself freely. An irritation there we read as a possible hint of held-back feelings. That is a spiritual, worldview-based reading and no medical statement of cause.
Should one have tonsillitis clarified by a doctor?
Yes. Severe or persistent sore throat, fever, difficulty swallowing or purulent coatings belong to be clarified by a doctor. Some throat infections need a targeted treatment. Please do not sit it out, but see a doctor.
What does the 5th chakra good?
From our view: an open, friendly atmosphere and the freedom to say honestly what moves one. That is a worldview-based suggestion for well-being – no promise of healing and no substitute for medical treatment.
