Hip joints
The hip joints connect the legs with the trunk and carry much load in standing and walking. At the Kyborg Institute we additionally read hip complaints in soul-related terms, expressly as a personal, worldview-based view.
Our reading
In our reading, the hips have to do with getting ahead. People who “do not properly get ahead” we connect symbolically with hip themes; a lopsided posture we read as a hint of whether it is rather the feeling-oriented (left) or the intellect-oriented (right) side that is burdened. Fear of life and uncertainty in dealing with others can play a role in this image. From our spiritual view, with some complaints experiences from earlier lives also carry over – this we understand expressly as a worldview-based view, not as a medical statement and without any attribution of blame.
What does that mean in practice?
- Have hip complaints clarified by a doctor and treated.
- Stay in movement as far as it does good; attend to steadfastness.
- Ask oneself: where in life am I not getting ahead right now?
