With the arms (and hands) we grasp into the world, take hold and shape. At the Kyborg Institute we additionally read arm complaints on a soul-related level, expressly as a personal, worldview-based view.
Our reading
In our reading, problems with the arms show that someone has trouble mastering their present tasks and “taking hold of life properly”. They often concern present themes: whoever cannot assert themselves at work right now perhaps gets elbow or tendon complaints – the combination of activity and annoyance. In a more congenial environment this often improves, in this view. We connect the left side of the body rather with feeling (via the right hemisphere), the right rather with intellect and the outer world. From our spiritual point of view, the hands also radiate energy. These are pictorial suggestions, no claims about causes.
What does that mean in practice?
- Have persistent arm/joint complaints clarified by a doctor.
- Ask oneself: where can I not “take hold properly” right now, or not assert myself?
- Exercise: stretch the arms horizontally forward, slowly and firmly close the fists – with the imagination of grasping one’s own share of life (from karate). Repeat several times.
