Gums
The gums enclose the teeth, give them hold and supply them with nutrients. Healthy gums are an important basis for healthy teeth. At the Kyborg Institute we consider the theme additionally on a soul-related level, expressly as a personal, worldview-based view.
Our reading
In our reading, the gums are a symbol of self-assurance and basic trust. Bleeding gums we read as a hint that this basic trust is currently disturbed; if the gums recede, we see in it the image of a receding self-confidence. Slackening resolve too and long indecision belong, for us, in this image. That is a pictorial stimulus for self-reflection and no claim about causes.
What does that mean in practice?
- Have bleeding and receding gums clarified by a dentist; good oral hygiene is the basis.
- Ask oneself: where do I currently lack security or resolve?
- Courageously put into practice the decisions made.
Note: This article renders a personal, worldview-based view and is not medical advice. It replaces no medical diagnosis or treatment. For health questions please turn to a doctor or pharmacy; do not discontinue prescribed medication on your own initiative.
