At the Kyborg Institute we see in it additionally – on an energetic-symbolic level – a pole of giving and nourishing. That is expressly a personal, worldview-based view. In our image, the breast is more than form and function: a place where warmth, attention and life force gather and are passed on – related to the theme of charity / altruism and a balanced giving and taking. Whoever cares well for themselves, does not lastingly overburden themselves and heeds their own energy lives, according to our understanding, more in balance. That is a spiritual reading – no statement about how illnesses arise, and no attribution of blame. No one is “self to blame” for an illness.

Breast cancer is a serious illness that, recognised early, is today often well treatable. Therefore it holds, independently of any reading:
- Regularly examine the breast by touch and attend to changes.
- Take up medical palpation examinations and the recommended mammography screening.
- Have new lumps, hardenings, skin changes or discharge clarified by a doctor promptly.
- Take prescribed treatments seriously and do not break them off on your own initiative.
A soul-related, energetic view can give personal support – but it is no substitute for screening and treatment, but at most a supplement.

No. There is no behaviour that reliably protects against breast cancer, and no one is 'self to blame' for an illness. Decisive are early detection and medical accompaniment. Earlier accounts that suggested otherwise we have removed.
