Thymus gland
The thymus is a gland of the immune system. At the Kyborg Institute we additionally read it on a spiritual-symbolic level as a “life indicator” and a link between body, soul and mind – expressly as a personal, worldview-based view and without any claim to diagnosis or healing. The Greek thymos stands for life force and sensitivity.
A symbolic reading
In our reading, the “thymus area” reacts finely to what surrounds us: warmth, laughter, embraces, nature, music and loving encounters do good; violence, lasting stress and burdening images less so. This is an inner image – no medical statement and no assertion about the emergence of illnesses.
“Laughter is medicine”, it is said – and closeness and affection do most people good. We mean this as a life-affirming attitude, not as a therapy.
Important
Earlier statements that “every illness” begins with a thymus weakness, or that one could make diagnoses with muscle tests (kinesiology) or activate “self-healing powers” with a tongue exercise, we have removed – they are not demonstrated. In the case of complaints it holds: have it clarified by a doctor.
Note: This article renders a personal, worldview-based view and is not medical advice. It replaces no medical diagnosis or treatment. For health questions please turn to a doctor or pharmacy; do not discontinue prescribed medication on your own initiative.
Frequently asked questions
How does the Kyborg Institute read the thymus gland?
We understand the thymus symbolically as a 'life indicator' and a link between body and mind. Positive impressions – warmth, laughter, closeness – do good, in our view, burdening ones less. This is a spiritual-worldview reading.
Does 'every illness' begin with a thymus weakness?
No. This blanket statement we have removed. Illnesses have manifold, medically researched causes. Our reading makes no statement about the emergence of illness.
Can one strengthen 'self-healing powers' with kinesiology or a tongue exercise?
Such diagnostic and self-healing claims we have removed. They are not demonstrated. In the case of complaints it holds: have it clarified by a doctor.
