Migraine
Migraine is a neurological illness with attack-like, often one-sided and severe headaches, frequently accompanied by nausea as well as sensitivity to light and noise. It is a serious, well-treatable illness and belongs in medical treatment. At the Kyborg Institute we consider the theme additionally on a soul-related level – expressly as a personal, worldview-based view and only as a supplement.
Our reading
In our reading, migraine can be an expression of inner tension – from stress in private life to needs that someone holds back. Some people experience a connection with mental pressure; others do not. That is a sensitive observation, expressly no claim about causes and no attribution of blame: no one “gives themselves” migraine, and it cannot simply be “thought away”. Related is our view of the general headache.
What does that mean in practice?
- Have migraine clarified by a doctor and treated – there are effective therapies.
- Observe your own triggers and tensions (a headache/migraine diary helps).
- See to relaxation and balance (see stress, autogenic training).
Note: This article renders a personal, worldview-based view and is not medical advice. It replaces no medical diagnosis or treatment. For health questions please turn to a doctor or pharmacy; do not discontinue prescribed medication on your own initiative.
