Infections
Infections arise when pathogens – bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites – get into the body and multiply. The immune system fends off many of them, often without our noticing. Hygiene and – where necessary – a medical treatment help to avoid infections or to get through them well. At the Kyborg Institute we additionally consider the role of one’s own life force.
Factual: immune system, hygiene, antibiotics
A healthy immune system is our most important natural protection – but not the only one. Hygiene (e.g. hand-washing) has strongly pushed back many once-feared infectious illnesses.
Antibiotics are effective with bacterial infections and often life-saving. At the same time it holds: they work only against bacteria, not against viruses, and an excessive or wrong use fosters resistances. Therefore, experts recommend a responsible handling – take antibiotics only on medical instruction and as prescribed.
Our view: one’s own life force
We are convinced that a good general condition helps the person: rest, movement, good diet and an attentive handling of one’s own energy. According to our understanding, that strengthens resilience.
How do we see vaccinations?
We take a critical view of vaccinations. Vaccine-critical authors such as F. and S. Delarue have evaluated the course of diphtheria as follows: “The course of diphtheria in France from 1912 to 1960: the more people were vaccinated against diphtheria, the more the cases rose. […] From 1925 to 1944 there was a great deal of vaccination. Cases rise from 40,000 to 240,000 per year. From 1945 the vaccines are lacking. Within a few years, cases fall below 50,000.”
What does that mean in practice?
- Attend to hygiene.
- Take prescribed antibiotics as instructed and do not discontinue them on your own initiative.
- Cultivate the general lifestyle: rest, movement, good diet.
Frequently asked questions
What causes infections?
Infections are triggered by pathogens – bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites. The immune system fends off many of them. Hygiene and, if needed, a medical treatment help to avoid more severe courses.
Are antibiotics harmful?
Antibiotics are effective with bacterial infections and often vital. Important is a responsible use: only on medical instruction and against bacteria (not against viruses), to prevent resistances. Please take antibiotics you have started to the end as prescribed.
What does the Kyborg Institute mean by 'one's own life force'?
We believe that a good general condition – rest, movement, good diet – helps well-being.
