Haemorrhoids
Haemorrhoids are widenings of the vascular cushions at the exit of the bowel – frequent and mostly well treatable, though blood in the stool should be assessed by a doctor anyway to rule out something more serious. At the Kyborg Institute we additionally read the theme on an energetic-symbolic level.
The 1st chakra and the theme of security
In our reading, we assign the pelvic floor to the 1st chakra – the energy centre for security and being grounded. Symbolically, we connect haemorrhoids with the feeling of holding fast and not being able to let go of the old, often accompanied by fear.
What does that mean in practice?
- Avoid constipation (fibre, fluid, movement).
- See to gentle hygiene; pharmacy preparations and medical treatment help specifically.
