Premature birth
A premature birth is the birth of a child clearly before the calculated date. It has manifold medical causes and is no fault of the mother. At the Kyborg Institute we classify the theme sensitively and on a personal-soul-related level – expressly as a worldview-based view and always only as a supplement to the medical accompaniment.
Sensitive – without attribution of blame
Some pregnancies run more restlessly than others, and a premature birth can be a great worry for parents. We believe that calm, confidence and a supportive environment do the expectant mother good. That is a personal attitude – expressly no claim about causes and no attribution of blame. No one is “self to blame” for a premature birth.
Care and swift help
The most important support is good antenatal care with a gynaecologist and midwife – it recognises risks early. Questions about diet, nutrients or physical strain belong there; no substances or dosages on your own. With premature labour, bleeding or a discharge of amniotic fluid: seek medical help at once.
What does that mean in practice?
- Take up antenatal care consistently, use midwifery accompaniment.
- Attend to warning signs and, in doubt, at once to the clinic.
- See to relief, rest and support in the environment.
Note: This article renders a personal, worldview-based view and is not medical advice. It replaces no medical diagnosis or treatment. For health questions please turn to a doctor or pharmacy; do not discontinue prescribed medication on your own initiative.
