Well of Atlantis
The Well of Atlantis is an octagonal ring of copper tube – nickel-plated and gilded – with a rock-crystal point at the centre and a loose rose-quartz sphere. It is an object of art and experience of the Kyborg Institute: you hold your hands over the open area or immerse them and let go. What you feel in doing so is a personal experience – not a medical or physically measured effect (cf. life energy).
Material and construction
- Ring: octagonal, of copper tube, nickel-plated and gilded.
- Centre: a rock-crystal point whose radiance is “fed” into the ring (so our energetic understanding).
- Accessory: a small rose-quartz sphere with a stand, supplied loose.
- The supporting column can be designed in different ways (wood, stone, etc.).
When assembling, screw the gilded part into the acrylic plate; the hole for the rose-quartz sphere is to the right of centre, the sphere is placed on the right-hand side within the circle.
Alignment
Align the ring so that the two cross-struts – one reaches from behind over the rock crystal, one carries it from the front – run from north-east (support) to south-west (hood).
Use
Stand in front of the support (facing south-west), first hold your hands horizontally over the ring, relax – and then slowly lower your hands into the open area without touching anything. Breathe calmly and deeply, let go of tension. This can be repeated as often as you like, for example after strenuous conversations or between appointments.
Many people feel this to be pleasant – like a brief pause, after which one feels refreshed and relaxed. Some describe it as “letting go of old burdens”. These are personal impressions; we do not claim a medical or energetically measurable effect.
Origin of the name
D. Harald Alke named the object “Well of Atlantis” because – in his interpretation – forces come to expression in it such as, according to tradition, are said to have been used in Atlantis. This is a mythological frame of reference, not a historical assertion of fact.
