Horus Energy Pyramid Protective Amulet
The Horus Energypyramid® protective amulet is a gilded, hand-crafted, alchemically designed piece of jewellery made of two fine crystals (ruby and sapphire) and six metals. It is intended as a spiritual symbol of protection, love and contemplation – a piece of jewellery and a meditation object, not a remedy.
Idea & symbolism
The protective amulet was created by D. Harald Alke to translate the visual language of the Horus Energy Pyramids into a wearable object. It unites – in alchemical symbolism – the powers of fire and water, of sun and moon. This union of opposites is what the alchemists call the alchemical wedding.
At the centre of the visual language stands the 4th chakra (Anahata), the heart – symbolically the centre between the three lower and the three upper chakras. From this centre, according to the spiritual reading, we master the world: as within, so without. This is a philosophical interpretation, not a medical statement.
The two sides: fire & water
The fire side depicts the Horus Energy Pyramid as a fine relief; seen from above, it corresponds to the octagonal Bagua of the I Ching. Its centre is crowned by a ruby – in crystal lore a symbol of strength, clarity and resolve, “the guardian of the soul”. Anyone who likes can meditate on this mandala and draw calm and focus from it.
The water side is modelled on the vibration of water; at its centre sits a blue sapphire – a symbol of clarity, concentration and mental stimulation. Water is soft and yet grinds down the hardest rock: an image of quiet, steady power.
Both stones are deliberately chosen as synthetic crystals, because they are very uniform. Red and blue, Yin and Yang – the two sides complement each other into a balanced whole.
The eight inscriptions
The symbol of the energy pyramid is surrounded by eight terms (in English, as the amulet goes to many countries):
- North – “Horus” & “Energypyramid®”: the protective god and the eye in the pyramid.
- West – “Power & Success”: strength and success.
- South – “Love & Enlightenment”: love and enlightenment.
- East – “Shelter & Security”: protection, security and safety.
The lettering is applied as a fine relief, so that you can feel it while meditating. Above all, the amulet seeks to give one thing: a feeling of protection and security and the reminder that life has a meaning.
The six metals (alchemical symbolism)
The amulet is made of six metals – a core of zinc, nickel and tin, triple-electroplated with copper (Venus metal), silver (moon metal) and, on the outside, gold (sun metal). The alchemical doctrine of correspondences assigns each metal a vibration and a planet; in this symbolism the amulet becomes an image of the sun.
In 2021 a layer of silver was added. As the moon metal it brings – in our feeling – the feminine, balancing vibration into the amulet and attunes it more harmoniously. The precious-metal coating also makes the amulet pleasantly skin-friendly.

How to wear & use the amulet
Wear the amulet on a chain or leather band around the middle of the chest. Depending on the length, it sits closer to the heart or the solar plexus – choose what feels right for you. If you wear the wave (water) side inwards, many describe a feeling of warmth and harmony; the pyramid side facing outwards is experienced by onlookers as clear and present.
- Meditation: Place the amulet in front of you or hold it in your hands, let light fall into it and gaze at the sparkling stone.
- Connecting with your energy pyramid: You can briefly hold it over the tip of your energy pyramid to “initialise” it (Models A, B or C). All amulets are initialised by us in an F model – so you do not need a pyramid of your own.
- Distance connection: Some place it on a photo of a person or of the large pyramid installation, to feel connected.
In our view, the amulet works like an “opened umbrella” in an energetic-spiritual sense: it can give a feeling of protection and gathering. This is meant in terms of experience and meaning.
Frequently asked questions
Is the protective amulet a remedy? No. It is a spiritual piece of jewellery and a meditation object. It is not a medical device, makes no healing claims and does not replace medical treatment.
Does the amulet protect against illnesses, viruses or bacteria? No. We expressly make no such claims. “Protection” here is meant purely energetically and symbolically (a feeling of security and gathering).
