Horus Pendulum

The Horus pendulum is a gilded brass pendulum for intuitive pendulum work. Through its shape it responds sensitively to the small, involuntary movements of the hand – in our understanding an indicator of the fine stirrings of thoughts and feelings. This is a spiritual, intuitive practice, not a measuring or diagnostic instrument.
Dimensions and material
- Material: brass, gilded
- Length: 33 mm · Diameter at top: 14 mm
- Weight: 20 g (with gilded chain)
- Chain: 20 cm
A short pendulum guide
There are many instructions on how to use a pendulum “correctly”. In our experience, however, people respond differently – the pendulum basically only makes visible the finest, otherwise invisible movements of the fingertips. In this way you can find your own “pendulum language” step by step:
- Rest it loosely. To begin with, rest your pendulum arm on a tabletop with your elbow. Let the pendulum hang freely and relaxed between thumb and index finger on about 10 cm of chain.
- Determine “good”. Ask inwardly: “What is good for me?” Observe whether the pendulum circles clockwise or anticlockwise – that is your personal “yes”.
- Determine “bad”. Ask about the opposite. Usually an opposite movement appears. Practise by imagining something pleasant and something unpleasant.
- Determine “neutral”. Finally, determine the movement for “doesn’t matter / unimportant”.
With a little practice you no longer need to rest your arm – that is only an aid to stay calm at first. Practice makes perfect.
Use
Once you know your three basic movements, you can use the pendulum as a personal tool for reflection and intuition – for example to sense calmly how you feel about a question, or to check the setup of your energy pyramid if you are unsure with the compass.
Important: pendulum dowsing is an intuitive, belief-based practice – not a substitute for professional, medical or other expert decisions. Please do not make health-related or other important decisions on the basis of a pendulum alone.
